MAIRE Streamlines Global Operations with Microsoft AI and Autodesk Integration

Italian engineering group MAIRE has undergone significant changes in its global operations by leveraging Microsoft's AI and Autodesk technologies. With over 10,000 employees, MAIRE provides technology and project solutions to downstream energy and chemical segments worldwide.

Faced with tighter margins and increasing expectations, the company sought faster access to data to reduce rework and delays. To address this challenge, MAIRE turned to Microsoft's Copilot Studio and Foundry, connected with Autodesk Forma.

The integration has allowed engineers to query complex project data in natural language within Microsoft Teams, significantly reducing search time. This innovation has also enabled the embedding of AI into daily workflows.

As a result, MAIRE engineers now have access to always-available AI-readable knowledge, faster onboarding, reduced manual rework and risk, and over 100 new AI use cases underway. This shift enables them to focus their expertise on higher-value and more complex project scopes.
