Maleficent's Domain Coming to Magic Kingdom in 2026

The Magic Kingdom is getting a new land dedicated to Disney's most iconic villains. After two years of development, Disney has finally revealed the name and details about Villains Land, which will be located beyond Big Thunder Mountain.

According to Disney, the land will feature 'two major attractions, dining, and shopping on an incredibly twisted grand scale.' The main attraction is a Maleficent Coaster that will put guests face-to-face with the Mistress of All Evil herself. They'll race through enchanted briar surrounding her mountaintop fortress.

Another key part of Villains Land will be a dark ride hosted by the Magic Mirror, where guests will find themselves transported into the mirror's mystical realm and see Disney villains come to life in ways only the magic mirror can do.

The team at Walt Disney Imagineering drew inspiration from architecture styles in Paris and Barcelona to create 'Conjured Architecture,' which they believe will bring a sense of magic to this dark new corner of Magic Kingdom.
