Mattel Unveils Buildable Xbox Console Model for 25th Anniversary
Mattel is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Microsoft Xbox console with an exclusive construction set, available now for pre-order. The highly detailed buildable model includes interactive features and elements dedicated to iconic games like Halo: Combat Evolved, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and Psychonauts.
The set is part of Mattel's premium construction toy brand, Mattel Brick Shop, and contains 3,509 pieces. It is a full-size replica of the original console and its controller, complete with three game modules that can be removed and displayed separately. The classic Xbox controller activates various functions when buttons are pressed, triggering light effects synchronized to in-game soundtracks.
The set also includes 12 NanoWorld figures, which add an extra layer of detail to the buildable model. A hidden button combination can be discovered, which triggers an exclusive lighting sequence. Shipping of the construction set will begin on October 16, 2026.
