Maximize Your Quarterly Credit Card Benefits Before Q3 Deadline
With September 30th fast approaching, it's essential to check which quarterly benefits on your credit cards still need to be used. These perks can include statement credits and bonus categories that reset every quarter. Some cards with these benefits are the American Express Business Platinum Card, American Express Platinum Card, Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card, Hilton Honors American Express Business Card, Hilton Honors American Express Surpass Card, Chase Freedom Flex, Chase Freedom (legacy card), Citi Dividend Card, Discover it Cash Back, and U.S. Bank Cash+ Visa Signature Card.
The Business Platinum Card from American Express offers two statement credits that reset each quarter: up to $90 per quarter for eligible Indeed purchases in the US and up to $50 per quarter for eligible Hilton purchases. The American Express Platinum Card also has quarterly benefits, including up to $100 per quarter for Resy and up to $75 per quarter for Lululemon.
Other cards with quarterly benefits include the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card (up to $50 in flight statement credits), Hilton Honors American Express Business Card (up to $60 Hilton statement credit), and Hilton Honors American Express Surpass Card (up to $50 Hilton statement credit). The Chase Freedom Flex and legacy Chase Freedom cards offer rotating quarterly bonus categories for cardholders, including up to 5% cash back on gas stations, electric vehicle charging, public transit, select live entertainment, and donations to United Way.
Cardholders should activate their current categories by September 14th to receive the higher earning rate. Other cards with rotating quarterly bonus categories include the Citi Dividend Card (up to 5% cash back on purchases at gas stations and home improvement stores) and the Discover it Cash Back card (up to 5% cash back on gas stations, transportation, and drugstores). The U.S. Bank Cash+ Visa Signature Card also offers a flexible quarterly benefit of up to 5% cash back on two rotating categories.
