McAlester Mural Celebrates America's Cowboy Heritage

A new mural has been unveiled in McAlester, Oklahoma, celebrating the American Cowboy as part of the country's 250th anniversary. The artwork was created by local artist Bailee the Kid in partnership with Sooner Coca-Cola Bottling Co.

The mural, located on the south side of the Mat Food Mart building off George Nigh Expressway, is a 'visual narrative celebrating the toughness and resilience of the American Cowboy,' according to Randy Mayo, president of Sooner Coca-Cola Bottling Co.

'The artwork transforms Moonshiners into an iconic landmark,' Mayo added. The mural was commissioned by Sooner Coca-Cola Bottling Co. as part of their efforts to support local artists and contribute to the community's cultural scene.
