McDonald's Customers Demand Return of Beloved Discontinued Dipping Sauces
McDonald's customers are calling for the return of several discontinued dipping sauces. The list includes Szechuan dipping sauce, which gained popularity after an episode of Rick & Morty and was briefly reintroduced in 2017, 2018, and 2022. Fans also want to see the return of Chipotle BBQ, Teriyaki, Hot Mustard, Zesty Italian, Green Chili Salsa, and Sweet Chili Sauce.
The Szechuan dipping sauce has become particularly sought after, with some fans buying it on Ebay for as little as $6. The current BBQ sauce is considered too sweet by some, while the Chipotle kick would add a much-needed depth of flavor. Teriyaki, meanwhile, is described as 'divine'.
However, not all options are equally popular. Hot Mustard is seen as too spicy, and Zesty Italian doesn't quite live up to its name. The Green Chili Salsa, on the other hand, would pair well with the currently available spicy nuggets.
