McDonald's has confirmed that its popular Monopoly promo will not be running in the UK and Australia for 2026. However, fans can still participate in other promotions offered by the fast-food chain.

The company has been running its Monopoly game for nearly two decades, where customers collect stickers on food packaging to complete a board and win prizes. The promo was first introduced in the US but was discontinued there in 2016.

A McDonald's spokesperson told Sky News that while Monopoly won't be featured in 2026, they will continue to listen to customer feedback to shape future promotions.

The decision has left some customers disappointed, with many taking to social media to express their frustration. However, the company is offering alternative promotions, including a special Spicy McNuggets meal in Texas that comes with collectible cups.
