McDonald's Hello Kitty Happy Meals Go Nuclear with Godzilla Mashup

McDonald's is teaming up with Sanrio for an unlikely collaboration - a Happy Meal series featuring Hello Kitty and her friends battling Godzilla.

The limited-time promotion, available at participating restaurants across the US starting August 18, features eight exclusive collectible toys based on the popular monster franchise.

Hello Kitty takes on the role of Godzilla, while Chococat transforms into SpaceGodzilla. Kuromi becomes Mechagodzilla, and Keroppi gets a dramatic makeover as King Ghidorah.

The other mash-ups include Badtz-Maru as Rodan, My Melody as Mothra, Cinnamoroll as Destoroyah, Pompompurin as Gigan, and Hello Kitty's friends taking on various other Godzilla foes.
