McDonald's Shares Edge Higher Despite Mixed Q2 Earnings
McDonald's shares rose around 2% after the company released its Q2 2026 earnings report. Despite mixed results, the fast-food giant demonstrated its ability to deliver earnings growth in a challenging consumer environment.
The adjusted EPS came in at $3.38, beating Wall Street expectations of $3.32. Revenue increased 4% year-over-year to $7.10 billion, but fell short of consensus estimates. Net income rose 5% YoY to $2.36 billion, in line with analyst estimates.
Global comparable sales grew 1.3%, narrowly missing expectations of 1.39%. The company reaffirmed its FY2026 guidance, maintaining capital expenditures and an operating margin range.
