McDonald's Shares Jump 2% After Q2 Earnings Beat Expectations
McDonald's shares rose by around 2% after the company released its Q2 2026 earnings report, showing it has continued to deliver growth despite a challenging consumer environment.
The fast-food giant reported adjusted EPS of $3.38, beating Wall Street expectations of $3.32, while revenue and comparable sales came in slightly below consensus.
However, investors are now focused on whether McDonald's can sustain its industry-leading margins while accelerating global sales growth in the second half of the year.
The company reaffirmed its FY2026 guidance, maintaining capital expenditures of $3.7, $3.9 billion and an operating margin in the mid-to-high 40% range.
