McDonald's Sits at Unusual Price Point Amid Steady Growth
McDonald's has been growing its global comparable sales in each of its last four reported quarters, with a streak running from 3.8% in the second quarter of 2025 to 3.8% in the first quarter of 2026.
The company's operating income rose 12% year over year to nearly $3 billion in the first quarter, while its revenue climbed 9% to about $6.5 billion.
McDonald's stock has declined by about 21% from its high of $341.75, but it now sits just 4% above its 52-week low.
