McDonald's Spicy McNuggets Return After Two-Year Absence

McDonald's Spicy McNuggets are returning to menus nationwide after a two-year hiatus. First introduced in September 2020, the spicy coating features a blend of heat-delivering spices like aged cayenne and chili pepper.

The nuggets will be available for in-restaurant orders as well as McDelivery and in-app orders for pickup when they officially relaunch on September 1, 2026. They will be offered in 6-, 10-, 20-, and 40-piece options.

Spicy McNuggets are a fan favorite that regularly pops up for a limited time before disappearing again. However, their return marks the end of a two-year absence from McDonald's menus.
