McDonald's Thailand Brings Joy to the Blind Through 'Touch of Smile' Campaign
McDonald's Thailand and Leo Thailand have launched a campaign called 'Touch of Smile' to promote happiness and inclusivity. The campaign revolves around a Mother's Day message in Braille, which is shared with children who are visually impaired. The message reads: 'Just want you to know… Mom smiles every time she sees you smile.'
The campaign features an unscripted film that showcases real moments of children and their mothers experiencing happiness together. The film aims to convey the idea that true happiness can be felt, even if it's not visible.
To further support this cause, McDonald's Thailand will donate proceeds from every Happy Meal purchased between August 1st and 31st at all its restaurants in Thailand. The funds will go towards programs that improve the quality of life and learning opportunities for children with visual impairments at the Bangkok School for the Blind.
This campaign is a continuation of McDonald's Thailand's efforts to make happiness more accessible to everyone, regardless of their abilities.
