McDonald's Unveils Limited-Edition 'Texas Meal' with Unique Artwork
A new limited-time meal bundle is launching at McDonald's locations in Texas on September 1st. The 'Texas Meal' includes a 10-piece McNuggets (or Spicy McNuggets) or a medium fries, and a medium drink. What sets this meal apart isn't the food itself, but rather the swag that comes with it.
The meal features custom-designed cups depicting one of seven 'regions' of Texas, created by artist Avery Orendorf. These regions include Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin/Central Texas, West Texas, East Texas, and Rio Grande Valley/South Texas.
Orendorf's artwork is described as 'clean, modern, illustrative', but the cups themselves look more lively and colorful. Each cup represents a unique aspect of its respective region, such as Houston's innovation and energy or Austin/Central Texas' eclectic character.
