McDonald's Workers Tie the Knot in Unconventional Wedding Ceremony
Jaime and George, two employees of a Northeast Ohio McDonald's restaurant, tied the knot in an unusual wedding ceremony held inside their workplace. The couple was surrounded by family, friends, and co-workers as they exchanged vows in the dining room of the restaurant.
The ceremony took place from 5-7 p.m., with the restaurant's dining room temporarily closed during that time. However, drive-thru orders were still accepted during this period. McDonald's crew members went above and beyond to make the wedding special by creating both the food and cake for the big day.
The husband of the general manager at the restaurant served as the officiant for the ceremony. The general manager, Tammy Snider, expressed her excitement about the event, saying 'This is so much more than a wedding at a McDonald's. It's a story about two people in love and a restaurant team that wanted to make sure they felt celebrated.'
A social media video of the wedding ceremony has gained significant attention, with nearly 500,000 likes and over 25,000 comments.
