Me&u Takes Aim at Industry Giants with Ambitious New Booking Platform
Me&u, an Australian startup founded in 2018 by Stevan Premutico, is expanding its scope with the launch of a new booking platform called Me&u Reservations. The platform will compete with American Express-owned Resy and DoorDash's SevenRooms.
The reservation system optimizes venue floor space, uses AI to manage bookings, and has event management capabilities for functions like engagement parties. Initially, Me&u will target bars and pubs that already use its QR codes, as well as more intimate and high-end restaurants.
Me&u CEO Kim Teo stated that the efficiencies afforded by AI allowed the company to develop Reservations without going back to investors for extra cash. The startup has been profitable since July 2025 and expects to remain profitable throughout 2026.
