Mednet Unites Trials with Microsoft Office Integration
AG Mednet has integrated Microsoft Office into its Judi platform for clinical trial optimization. This move allows sponsors, CROs (Contract Research Organizations), AROs (Academic Research Organizations), sites, and committees to work on familiar Microsoft Office documents within the secure Judi platform.
The integration brings the drafting stage under the same permissions and audit trail that govern the rest of the study. This means that sensitive information will be captured with the same rigor as the results, according to Abraham Gutman, Founder and CEO of AG Mednet.
Gutman noted that the audit trail in most trials has a gap precisely where the judgment happens, which can lead to versions multiplying fastest and sensitive information moving freely. With native Microsoft Office integration, drafting moves inside the secure platform, where permissions follow role and workflow stage.
The Judi platform now offers real-time co-authoring, allowing teams to work in one document rather than in copies. This feature is available across trial functions, from data safety monitoring and protocol development to eligibility and study startup. The integration works with a team's existing Microsoft Office license.
