Meesho Ditches CPO Role, Product Leaders to Report Directly to Business Heads
Meesho has announced that it is discontinuing its Chief Product Officer (CPO) role, a move aimed at strengthening accountability within its product organization. The decision was made to align product strategy and execution with the long-term needs of each business. Under the new structure, product leaders who previously reported to Prasanna Arunachalam will now report directly to their respective business heads.
Arunachalam, who was appointed as CPO in June 2025 after nearly five years at Meesho, will continue with the company but no longer be classified as senior management personnel. He has over 15 years of professional experience and previously worked with companies such as Cleartrip, Vizury, and Procter & Gamble.
Meesho stated that the restructuring is aimed at 'strengthening accountability' within its product organization.
