Men Caught Unloading Rifles, Ammo at Jericho Home Depot
Nassau police made a significant arrest in Jericho after discovering a stash of rifles, ammunition, and narcotics in a Home Depot parking lot.
On Friday, officers on routine patrol noticed three men unloading a large wooden crate from a vehicle and transferring multiple rifles into their cars in the Home Depot parking lot on Jericho Turnpike.
An investigation led to the arrest of all three men, who were charged with various crimes related to firearms possession and narcotics.
Two of the suspects, Gilberto Rivera Lopez and Rudi W. Rivera Lopez, were later turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after it was determined that they had entered the country illegally.
