Merck Foundation CEO Dr. Rasha Kelej Named Among '100 Most Impactful Voices 2026'
Dr. Rasha Kelej, CEO of Merck Foundation, has been recognized among the '100 Most Impactful Voices 2026' by ABCD Africa for her efforts in women's empowerment and healthcare access.
This is the latest recognition for Dr. Kelej, who was previously named among the '100 Most Influential Africans 2025' by New African Magazine and the '100 Most Influential African Women' by Avance Media for seven consecutive years.
Under her leadership, Merck Foundation has provided over 2500 scholarships to healthcare providers from more than 52 countries in 44 critical medical specialties, improving access to quality healthcare across Africa and beyond.
Dr. Kelej is also the creator of the 'Merck Foundation More Than a Mother' campaign, which aims to break infertility stigma and empower infertile women through education and health services.
