Merck Foundation Launches Educating Linda Program in Kenya

Merck Foundation officially launched its Educating Linda program in Kenya in partnership with The First Lady of Kenya, H.E. Mrs. Rachel Ruto E.G.H., and Ambassador of 'Merck Foundation More Than a Mother' at the Kenya State House.

The program aims to provide annual scholarships to 47 deserving Kenyan schoolgirls until they finish their education. Dr. Rasha Kelej, CEO of Merck Foundation and President of 'More Than a Mother' Campaign, stated that an educated girl transforms the entire community.

The First Lady of Kenya expressed her appreciation for the program and its mission to provide opportunities for Kenyan girls to pursue their dreams without financial barriers.
