The Merck Foundation has launched its programs in partnership with H.E. Madam ZITA OLIGUI NGUEMA, The First Lady of Gabonese Republic and Ambassador of 'Merck Foundation More Than a Mother' campaign.

The program aims to transform patient care, build healthcare capacity, break the stigma of infertility, empower women, and support girl education in Gabon and Africa.

Dr. Rasha Kelej, CEO of Merck Foundation, emphasized that it is a great honor to meet her dear sister, H.E. Madam ZITA OLIGUI NGUEMA, The First Lady of Gabon.

The foundation has provided 16 scholarships for local healthcare providers in critical and underserved specialties such as Fertility, Embryology, Oncology, Diabetes, and Hypertension.
