Merck Foundation Seeks Impactful Reporting for Media Recognition Awards
The Merck Foundation has announced its call for submissions for the 2026 Media Recognition Awards, aiming to honor impactful reporting that drives social change and public health awareness across communities.
The awards, open to journalists, media professionals, and students from regional and international outlets, will recognize outstanding work in print, radio, online, and multimedia categories.
Winners from each category will receive a prize of US$500. The deadline for applications is September 30th.
The foundation encourages submissions that focus on topics such as infertility stigma, girls' education, child marriage, female genital mutilation, gender-based violence, and women's empowerment.
