Merck KGaA Lifts Earnings Guidance on Life Science, Electronics Momentum
Germany-based Merck KGaA has raised its earnings guidance for 2026 due to strong demand in its Life Science and Electronics units.
The company's diversified family-controlled group reported better-than-expected quarterly results, with earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) adjusted for special items likely to rise to between €5.9 billion and €6.3 billion ($6.8-7.3 billion).
This new outlook range is higher than the previous forecast of €5.7 billion to €6.1 billion, and also surpasses last year's reported earnings of €6.1 billion.
