Merck Surpasses Revenue Estimates in Q2 CY2026, But EPS Guidance Takes a Hit

Merck (NYSE:MRK) recently reported better-than-expected revenue in Q2 CY2026, with sales growing 5.1% year on year to $16.61 billion.

The company's adjusted EPS of -$0.13 was 49.5% above analysts' consensus estimates.

Merck slightly lifted its revenue guidance for the full year to $66.8 billion at the midpoint from $66.4 billion, but lowered its full-year Adjusted EPS guidance to $2.71 at the midpoint, a 46.9% decrease from previous expectations.

'We continued to make substantial progress across our business this quarter, driven by strong execution and growing contributions from new product launches,' said Robert M. Davis, chairman and chief executive officer of Merck.
