Sheri Lewis, a veteran of Medtronic, is joining Merit Medical Systems as its new EVP of Global Operations. She will start on August 31st.

Lewis comes from a background in leading global manufacturing and supply chain operations at companies such as SkinHealth Systems, Avantor, and Honeywell. Her experience will be valuable to Merit Medical, which has been scaling globally and implementing its long-term growth strategy.

To ensure continuity, Neil Peterson, the company's outgoing EVP of Global Operations, will move into a senior advisor role until March 5th, 2027. During his time at Merit, Peterson strengthened product quality and improved on-time delivery while navigating supply chain constraints and the COVID-19 pandemic.

The leadership changes are part of a series that has taken place since Martha Aronson was named President and CEO in October 2025. Other recent appointments include John Hall as EVP of Global R&D, Adam Smith as chief commercial officer, and Pete Dankwerth as EVP of Global Enterprise Excellence.
