MEXC Announces Cash Dividend Settlement for AAPL, IBM, and ROL Stock Futures
The cryptocurrency exchange MEXC will be conducting a cash dividend settlement for three stock futures - AAPL, IBM, and ROL - on August 10th, 2026. The settlement is in accordance with the dividend distribution schedules of the underlying companies.
During the settlement process, long position holders will receive the corresponding dividend amount based on their position size, credited to their accounts as a funding fee adjustment. Short position holders, on the other hand, will pay the corresponding dividend amount based on their position size, deducted from their accounts as a funding fee adjustment.
MEXC has announced that users holding positions in the relevant stock futures are advised to take note of the following information: on August 9th, 2026 at 23:30 UTC, the relevant stock futures will enter Reduce-Only mode; and on August 10th, 2026 at 00:05 UTC, normal trading and regular funding fee mechanisms will resume.
The exchange has also warned users about potential risks, particularly for short position holders who may face liquidation due to dividend deductions. It is recommended that users review and replenish their margin before the settlement date to avoid any financial difficulties.
