MGM Expansion Gets Boost from British Film Commission
Amazon MGM Studios' plans to expand its studios in Berkshire, UK, have received support from the British Film Commission (BFC).
The expansion of Bray Film Studios, near Windsor, will include building a multi-storey car park and six new sound stages. The project is expected to create 470 jobs during construction and 920 more in the local area once completed.
The BFC's head of production, Samantha Perahia, said that the expansion would 'provide a considerable boost' to the region's filmmaking industry and support employment opportunities for both the local community and the wider UK sector.
