MGMS Makes History with First Weet-Bix Raluve Under-18 Title
Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School (MGMS) has made history in Fiji's rugby scene by securing its first Weet-Bix Raluve Under-18 title. The school added this championship to its Coca-Cola Games girls title, making it a remarkable double for MGMS.
The team edged out southern rivals Lomary Secondary School 13-12 in a thrilling final at Suva's National Stadium last Saturday. This victory was especially sweet for the players as they had previously lost to Lomary in the Southern Zone final.
Head coach Antonio Raboiliku attributed the win to redemption, stating 'It's a really sweet victory for our school and we thank God for the history that has been made.'
