Michael Dell Surpasses Jeff Bezos as World's Third-Richest Person

Nvidia is a leader in artificial intelligence (AI) chip production, while Dell builds servers that use those chips. In the last quarter, Nvidia earned $96.2 billion and kept 75 cents of every dollar, whereas Dell reported $47 billion with a profit margin of just 21%.

The significant difference lies in the ownership structure of both companies. Michael Dell owns around 40% of Dell, while Jensen Huang, founder of Nvidia, owns approximately 3% of the company.

This disparity in ownership explains why Jensen Huang's net worth is $189.1 billion, whereas Michael Dell's net worth has surpassed Jeff Bezos' to become the third-richest person with a fortune of $276.5 billion.
