Mickey and the Magician Show Closes for Refurbishment in 2027
Disney Adventure World's acclaimed entertainment show 'Mickey and the Magician' is set to close its doors for 2027 due to refurbishment of the Animagique Theater. Located in Disneyland Paris, the show has been a fan favorite since its debut in 2016 with an updated version arriving in 2022.
The interactive show features Mickey Mouse cleaning up his workshop at night when Tinker Bell sprinkles pixie dust, leading to a magical performance inspired by Disney classics such as Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Aladdin, and Frozen. The show also showcases actual magic and illusions created by Paul Kieve, drawing inspiration from Georges Méliès and Robert-Houdin.
The Animagique Theater will undergo an extended refurbishment starting on January 10, 2027, with no specific reopening date announced for the popular show. However, Disneyland Paris promises more fun at the park in 2027 with the debut of Wilderness Explorer Sky Swings themed to Pixar's Up and the return of Alice and the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland.
