Mickey Shorts Theater Closes Again for Disney World's Annual Passholder Event

Disney's Hollywood Studios is experiencing another attraction closure, this time at the Mickey Shorts Theater. Vacation Fun, An Original Animated Short with Mickey & Minnie will be temporarily closing on August 9th. The theater will reopen later in the year after it serves as a magnet pick-up center for Disney World Annual Passholders from August 9th to September 24th.

This is not the first time Vacation Fun has closed, having previously shut down in October 2025 before reopening in December of that same year. The theater will be used to distribute a limited-edition Kermit the Frog Magnet to passholders during its closure.

Visitors can still experience an air-conditioned space at Walt Disney Presents Theater, which features a 15-minute documentary called Walt Disney: One Man's Dream.
