Microsoft 365 Disruption Continues into Second Day
A widespread Microsoft 365 disruption has continued into its second day, affecting users of Outlook and other services.
The main cause of the problems was a failure in the Exchange Online service, which led to delays or errors when delivering email, difficulties signing in to accounts, and disruptions to Outlook.
Microsoft explained that the issue stemmed from a configuration error in key authentication components, used by several Microsoft 365 services, causing incorrect settings that prevented them from being deployed properly across certain infrastructure segments.
The company is gradually restoring its services, with specialists reviewing recent changes and testing ways to fix the failure before rolling out measures to stabilize the system in stages.
