Microsoft Adds Outlook Classic Theme to New Outlook
Microsoft is trying to make its New Outlook email client more appealing by introducing an optional 'Outlook Classic' theme.
The feature, which is currently rolling out to users, allows them to apply a visual style similar to the classic Outlook interface, including layout, icons, and typography.
Although the toggle will not change the underlying experience of New Outlook, Microsoft hopes that it will make the transition easier for users who are hesitant to move away from the older client.
The company plans to use this feature as part of its transition strategy for users who are strongly attached to Outlook Classic. If a user is moved to New Outlook or tries it out, Microsoft may automatically enable the classic theme to make the experience feel more familiar.
