Microsoft Agent 365 Opens to Third-Party Cybersecurity Vendors

Microsoft has opened its Agent 365 platform to third-party cybersecurity vendors, allowing them to feed risk signals into a unified control plane for managing and securing AI agents across enterprise environments. The move reflects the growing challenge facing security teams as AI agents become embedded in business operations.

Darktrace, Cyera, and Zenity are among the first partners selected by Microsoft to contribute risk signals into Agent 365. Darktrace's SECURE AI product will integrate with Agent 365, bringing organisation-specific behavioural risk signals into the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

These signals are derived from each customer's Unique Behavioural Profile and are designed to help security teams understand which agents exist, what they are permitted to do, and whether their actual behaviour is consistent with how that organisation normally operates. By closing this 'behaviour gap', organisations can gain greater confidence in scaling AI adoption securely.

Microsoft Agent 365 provides administrators with a centralised registry of AI agents operating within their environment. The platform already surfaces risk signals from Microsoft Entra, Defender, and Purview. With the new partner integrations, it can now also ingest signals from supported third-party security vendors.
