Microsoft Appoints Angela Nganga as East Africa Country Lead
Angela Nganga has been appointed as Microsoft's Country Lead for East Africa, based in Nairobi. She will oversee the company's work with governments, enterprises, and startups across Kenya and the wider East Africa region.
Nganga brings over 20 years of experience in technology, telecommunications, healthcare, public affairs, and policy to her new role. Before joining Microsoft in 2012, she held senior corporate affairs and public policy positions at Telkom Kenya and AAR Health Services Ltd.
In her new position, Nganga will focus on expanding AI skills and workforce readiness while supporting the development and scaling of locally relevant technology solutions. She aims to enable East African companies to become producers as well as consumers of AI innovation.
