Microsoft Appoints Caroline Foo to Lead AI and Cloud Adoption in Philippines
Microsoft has appointed Caroline Foo as Country General Manager of its Philippines operations. In this role, she will focus on accelerating AI and cloud adoption across the economy.
Foo brings over 25 years of technology leadership experience to her new position. She previously held the Enterprise Commercial Director for ASEAN role, where she led commercial and sales organisations across the region.
The Philippines has seen significant growth in AI adoption, with Microsoft's 2026 Work Trend Index finding that 25% of Filipino workers qualify as Frontier Professionals, the most advanced category of AI users. This is higher than the global average of 16%.
Foo expressed her optimism about the market, stating 'The Philippines is one of the most inspiring markets in our region.' She aims to help organisations harness technology to amplify human potential and create lasting impact.
