Microsoft Beats Expectations, Analysts Predict 18% Revenue Growth by 2027
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) recently reported its annual results, causing shareholders to be ecstatic about their stake's increase by 22% over the past week.
The company reported US$332 billion in revenue, which is roughly in line with analyst forecasts. However, statutory earnings per share (EPS) of US$17.95 beat expectations, being 3.4% higher than what analysts expected.
After the latest results, the 48 analysts covering Microsoft are now predicting revenues of US$390.7 billion in 2027, which would reflect an 18% improvement in revenue compared to the last 12 months.
The consensus analysts don't seem to have seen anything in these results that would have changed their view on the business, given there's been no major change to their estimates.
