A class action lawsuit has been filed against Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) by law firm Bronstein, Gewirtz & Grossman, LLC. The lawsuit alleges that during the period from May 1, 2025 to January 28, 2026, Microsoft's officers made false and misleading statements about the company's Copilot family of products. Specifically, it is claimed that these products had significant problems with brand positioning, user experience, usage, data siloing, computational capacity, organizational, and interoperability.

The complaint also states that Microsoft's flagship proprietary AI model ranked poorly compared to competitors on several benchmark tests, and the company needed to increase its capital expenditures by billions of dollars to improve the competitive positioning of its Copilot products. This led to a decline in market share for Copilot offerings and a failure to convert a significant percentage of commercial Microsoft 365 users to paid subscriptions.

Investors who purchased or acquired Microsoft securities during this period may be eligible to participate in the class action lawsuit. Those interested can visit the firm's website, bgandg.com/MSFT, for more information and to review a copy of the complaint. The deadline to request appointment as lead plaintiff is August 11, 2026.

Bronstein, Gewirtz & Grossman, LLC represents investors in securities fraud class actions on a contingency fee basis, meaning they will only ask the court to reimburse them for expenses and attorneys' fees if successful. Peretz Bronstein, Founding Partner of the firm, stated that their practice centers on restoring investor capital and ensuring corporate accountability.
