Microsoft Communications Chief Frank Shaw Steps Down After Nearly Three Decades

Frank Shaw, Microsoft's long-time communications chief, is stepping down after nearly three decades leading the company's corporate communications. His tenure spanned significant changes in the tech industry, shifts in leadership, and multi-billion-dollar acquisitions.

Shaw announced his departure in a memo to staff, stating that he has decided it's time to pursue new paths and try different things. He will remain in the role until the end of the year as the company considers both internal and external candidates.
