Microsoft Deploys AI-Powered Migration Tool to Simplify Dynamics 365 Migrations
Microsoft has launched Dynamics 365 Activate, an AI-powered tool designed to simplify and accelerate migrations from legacy CRM and ERP systems to its own Dynamics 365 platform.
The new tool uses machine learning to analyze existing business environments, identify areas that require attention, and automate the migration process. This can help reduce manual work and minimize the risk of errors during implementation.
Dynamics 365 Activate is initially available in public preview for organizations migrating from Salesforce to Dynamics 365, with additional CRM and ERP migration scenarios planned for later this year.
The platform's AI capabilities allow it to analyze an organization's Salesforce environment, mapping relationships and dependencies, and identifying areas that require additional attention. In early customer engagements, the tool has already processed over six billion data records.
Microsoft is positioning Dynamics 365 Activate as a key part of its efforts to reduce the complexity associated with replacing heavily customized legacy business applications. The company plans to continue expanding the platform across CRM and ERP workloads in the coming months.
