Microsoft Excludes Audience Ads Placements Within Performance Max Campaigns
Microsoft Advertising has introduced a new feature for advertisers to exclude Audience ads placements within Performance Max campaigns. This allows users to prevent their ads from displaying alongside specific page titles by adding unwanted terms at either the account or campaign level.
The 'Excluded content terms' setting can be accessed in Audience Ads, and it enables users to block ads from showing next to unwanted terms. These terms can be added up to a maximum of 1000 at the account or campaign level.
This feature is designed to save time for advertisers by automatically applying any terms added to a campaign to all campaigns within an account. Microsoft Advertising has also mentioned that it allows excluding ages and genders in Performance Max at the asset group level, but this new feature specifically targets Audience ads placements.
