Microsoft Expands Xbox Library with Nine New Games on Game Pass

Microsoft has announced the second wave of Xbox games to be added to Game Pass in August 2026. The subscription service will expand its library by nine new titles, including Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, a narrative prequel to the well-known series.

The game tells the story of Sofia, who embarks on a journey to the island of the Minotaur. On August 19, Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers will receive an early version of Vapor World: Over the Mind, available through the program on release day.

Other titles joining the library include BlazBlue: Entropy Effect X and Relooted, while Starsand Island and Aerial_Knight's DropShot will become available on August 20 and 25 respectively. The roguelike Blood Dungeon will also be added on August 25.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is scheduled for release on PC, consoles, and handheld devices on August 27, followed by Young Suns on August 31 and Shelldiver on September 1.
