Microsoft Flight Simulator Celebrates Sixth Anniversary with Major Aircraft Update

Xbox and Asobo Studios have released Aircraft & Avionics Update 05 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, marking the sixth anniversary of the franchise's return.

The update brings several add-on aircraft up to MSFS 2024 standards, including the ATR 42 and 72, Boeing 307 Stratoliner, Bell 47J Ranger, Curtiss C-46 Commando, and Ford 4-AT Trimotor.

A number of fixes and improvements have been made to these aircraft, including revised flight models, improved handling, stability, and sound effects. The update also includes new features such as support for simulator ground power units and improved route drawing.
