Microsoft Game Pass Overhaul: Day-One Releases Axed, Cloud Gaming Goes Premium
A recent rumor suggests Microsoft is overhauling its Game Pass subscription model. According to insider Slayven, the price of Game Pass without ads will drop to $19.99 per month or $239.99 annually.
This would be a relatively small price reduction, but there are two significant caveats: new titles won't launch on day one anymore, and cloud gaming will be completely separated into its own add-on bundle.
The cloud streaming service will cost $5.99 for 25 hours, with an additional $5.99 per month for the family plan. There will also be a separate subscription option for online multiplayer access at $14.99 per month.
