Microsoft Hit with Class Action Lawsuit Over Alleged Securities Law Violations
A class action lawsuit has been filed against Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) over alleged violations of federal securities laws. The suit claims that Microsoft made false and/or misleading statements between May 1, 2025 and January 28, 2026.
The Complaint alleges that throughout this period, Defendants failed to disclose several issues with Microsoft's Copilot family of products, including brand positioning, user experience, usage, data siloing, computational capacity, organizational, and interoperability problems.
Additionally, the suit claims that Microsoft's flagship proprietary AI model ranked well below competitors on benchmark tests, and that the company needed to increase capital expenditures by billions of dollars to improve Copilot's competitive positioning.
The lawsuit seeks to recover damages for all persons and entities that purchased or acquired Microsoft securities during this period. Investors who wish to join the case can visit bgandg.com/MSFT.
