Microsoft Joins Urgent Call for Defensive AI Deployment Amid Rising Cyber Threats
Microsoft has joined forces with over 100 organizations to push for an urgent deployment of defensive AI capabilities. The coalition, which includes enterprise-software and cybersecurity giant Microsoft, emphasizes that critical infrastructure cannot afford to fall behind cyber attackers who are getting stronger by the day. The signatories to this call-to-action want action, not just promises of security.
The Frontier AI developers are being pushed to provide responsible model access, serious funding, hands-on training, and direct technical support. Hospitals, utilities, and other cash-strapped operators will be given priority. Regular nonstop testing, faster intelligence sharing, and verified fixes are also demanded by the coalition. Microsoft, with its significant scale and revenue of $331 billion in fiscal 2026, has the potential to turn this urgency into growth.
Microsoft Cloud generated more than $214 billion, or roughly 64.7% of total revenue, highlighting the growing importance of AI-security. The valuation gap adds another twist: at $512.2113, the shares sit 11.65% below their $579.76 GF Value™, indicating visible upside if Azure and cybersecurity demand keep gaining momentum.
