Microsoft Manager Killed in Ambush on Florida Road
A Microsoft manager was killed in a targeted ambush on a dark Florida road, and his ex-wife and her husband are accused of arranging the murder.
Jared Bridegan, 33, was shot twice after stopping to remove a tire from the road while driving back to St. Augustine with his 2-year-old daughter from a second marriage strapped in her car seat.
The alleged gunman, Henry Tenon, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder but withdrew the plea and will have his own trial next year.
The ex-wife, Shanna Gardner, faces her own trial in September for first-degree murder and solicitation of murder charges.
