Microsoft Manager's Ex-Wife Accused of Orchestrating Fatal Shooting

Jared Bridegan, a 33-year-old Microsoft design manager, was tragically killed in an ambush-style shooting on a dark Florida road. The incident occurred in Jacksonville Beach in February 2022 when Bridegan got out of his vehicle to remove a tire that had been placed in the road while his 2-year-old daughter from a second marriage was strapped in her car seat.

The prosecutor told jurors that the fatal shooting was a 'targeted ambush' hatched by Bridegan's ex-wife and her husband. The motive behind the crime, according to the prosecutor, was years of post-marriage strife over religion and how to raise their twin children.
