A man has been convicted of arranging the murder of Jared Bridegan, a Microsoft design manager who was shot in 2022 on a Florida road.

Bridegan was killed after he got out of his SUV to remove a tire from a road in Jacksonville Beach, leaving behind his daughter who sat nearby in her car seat.

The attack stumped police for months as they struggled to understand why someone with no apparent enemies would be killed in such a manner.
